Causes of Cellulite

The cause of cellulite is not well understood but there are several theories such as the following put together.

Hormonal factors

Hormones are believed to play an important role in cellulite development. Estrogen, noradrenaline, thyroid hormones, insulin and prolactin are part of the cellulite production process.
